Overview

Libra Cleaning Services Ltd is looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaning Labourer to join our growing team, working on active construction sites across Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment on-site, conducting build cleans, and external cleans of new build properties - including window cleaning, and cleaning of welfare facilities if required.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working on construction or building sites, though full training will be provided to the right candidate. A driving licence is required, and use of a company van will be provided as required, as well as all PPE.

Responsibilities

Internal cleaning of new build properties in the initial build stages External cleaning of new build properties, including window cleaning Adhering to health & safety regulations at all times Using cleaning equipment and PPE safely and responsibly Working independently and occasionally alongside trades or site teams Working to tight deadlines to meet handover schedules Ensuring quality control Following site safety and cleanliness procedures at all times Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in small teams. Drive to various locations as required to perform cleaning duties, ensuring timely arrival at each site.

Experience

Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Previous experience on a construction site (preferred) CSCS Card - preferred but not mandatory*
Good understanding of site safety and awareness Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction environment Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator A valid driving licence is required to travel between locations A proactive attitude towards work with an emphasis on attention to detail and quality of service.
