Job Overview - Senior UX/UI Designer

WeGetDesign is looking for a thoughtful and experienced

Senior UX/UI Designer

to join our team on a flexible, freelance basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior designer who enjoys working across multiple digital products, wants real input on shaping processes, and values a

balance between autonomy and structure

You'll work closely with the leadership team to support

MVP planning, design standards, and alignment across projects

. We have a clear

design roadmap

and are looking for someone who can help us prioritise, execute, and elevate our design approach--while having the freedom to shape the role around their strengths and interests.

The Role in a Nutshell

Start with 10 hours/week

, with flexibility to increase based on project needs. Help

plan and coordinate

our design schedule across live and upcoming projects.

Collaborate with developers and leadership

on MVPs, ensuring design is aligned, usable, and scalable.

Improve design consistency

through light systems work, basic templates, or shared components (Figma). Run

ad hoc workshops, coaching, or reviews

to level up the junior team when needed. Shape how we

use design within our AI and low-code tooling

What We're Looking For

4+ years of design experience, ideally with time spent working on digital products or startup MVPs. Strong in

Figma

, with a portfolio showing clean, functional interfaces and solid UX thinking. Experience

planning work and managing your own time

, while staying collaborative and responsive. Comfortable giving feedback, running design reviews, or jumping into quick prototyping sessions. Interest in tools like Bubble, AI design tools, or just a general curiosity for smart systems is a bonus.

: Pro Rata - 26,208 to 27,996 per annum (12.60 to 13.46/hour), depending on experience
