About the Role

Due to continued growth and to meet demand we are seeking two reliable and detail-oriented On-Site Surveyors to carry out accurate measurements for bespoke timber staircases UK wide. The successful candidates will visit residential and/or commercial sites to survey existing spaces and gather precise data for manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Attend on-site appointments to measure timber staircases and surrounding structures

Accurately record dimensions, levels, angles, and site conditions

Identify potential issues and report them clearly to the design/production team

Liaise professionally with clients, builders, and site managers

Ensure all surveys comply with relevant building regulations and company standards

Requirements

Experience surveying staircases, joinery, or similar construction elements

Strong understanding of timber stairs and construction methods

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to read drawings and plans

Good communication and customer-facing skills

Full UK driving licence

Required Experience

Background in joinery, carpentry, or staircase manufacture

Knowledge of building regulations related to staircases

Experience using digital measuring tools or survey software
