OOH Veterinary Surgeon - Nightingale Emergency Vets, Hale Veterinary Group

Hale Veterinary Group have a rare opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us as part of our OOHs service (trading as Nightingale Emergency Vets) due to a team member moving up country.


We are an expanding, progressive, RCVS accredited practice set within leafy North Wiltshire that takes pride in providing the best clinical care. We have branches in Calne, Corsham and Melksham as well as our main hospital in Chippenham. Our OOHs service was launched in January 2022 and has received rave reviews from our clients, as well as from our member practices.


Our Tier 3 status Veterinary Hospital has gained the ISFM Cat Friendly Practice gold award. It is equipped to an extremely high standard with plans to expand and to include a CT scanner.

The Area:

The practice is very close to the M4, as well as being 5 minutes away from the train station, making it easily accessible for clients and team members.


The local area has a lot to offer - it is close to the beautiful Cotswolds, as well as big cities such as Cardiff, Bristol & Bath. We are also only an hour from London by train. From city life to countryside, we have it all!

The role:

7 nights on, 14 nights off. (Average 31.5 hours a week). No day work, unless candidate is interested in assisting the weekend day team.


You will be working alongside a dedicated experienced RVN, so candidates must be confident with sole working. High level of engagement in cases and progression providing client value and professional satisfaction strongly supported.
