The role
We are recruiting two posts to work within the Open Research team at the University Libraries and Archives- one on a permanent basis and one on a fixed-term, 4-year basis, both full time.

The Open Access Adviser will be a member of the team that supports the University's open agenda, as well as providing support for many of the other activities of the Open Research team.
As Open Access Adviser you will * Deposit a range of research outputs into the institutional repository, Apollo.

  • Provide advice and support on a range of open access issues.
  • Handle payment requests and process invoices.
  • Deliver occasional outreach about open access to service users and other tasks to support the work of the Open Research team as required (such as minute taking, assistance with events and communication support).

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
