What this role entails:
- Set up and operate production equipment for manufacturing bioreactor parts under the guidance of project managers.
- Collaborate across teams and assist in various company activities to accelerate R&D and engineering workplans.
- Act as a key source of knowledge and support for specific production equipment.
- Work closely with material scientists and technicians to maintain a professional, clean, and safe working environment.
Objectives:
- Support bioreactor production work by manufacturing bespoke bioreactor components
- Maintain or modify equipment to improve quality, efficiency and productivity.
- Support the running and maintain the labs to a high standard.
Selection criteria:
1) Experience
- At least one year working in manufacturing environment.
- Delivering for an organisation
- Experience of responsibility for managing the day-to-day running of several items of equipment.
2) Team working
- Demonstrable ability to work with a diverse range of people, working towards a common goal in a multi-disciplinary environment.
3) Expertise
- Essential: setting up and operating manufacturing equipment.
