About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Operations Assistant to join our team at Novita Diamonds. In this full-time role, based at our London office, you will support the smooth running of our operations by undertaking a variety of responsibilities, including:
Managing shipping duties, including logistics coordination, to ensure timely deliveries.
Providing excellent customer service through email and phone communication with clients.
Handling and labelling stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
Running errands as required to support daily operations.
Possessing a basic understanding of jewellery, particularly diamonds, to assist clients and colleagues effectively.
Demonstrating proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Slack, and internal database platforms.
Acting as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and the production team, ensuring smooth communication and workflows.
Supporting in-person collection appointments when required to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team. Previous experience in jewellery or diamonds is highly valued. While we welcome candidates in the early stages of their careers (2+ years' experience), we are equally open to those with more experience who are eager to contribute and grow with us.
You will thrive in this role if you:
Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide outstanding customer service.
Are tech-savvy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Slack, and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
Have a basic understanding or a keen interest in jewellery, particularly diamonds, and a willingness to learn more.
Are a team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Take initiative, are adaptable, and can handle errands and logistical tasks with ease.
