At UK Debt Expert Scotland, we provide professional debt advice and financial solutions to people across the UK who are facing financial difficulty. We're committed to delivering high-quality, ethical advice that puts the customer first and helps them take control of their finances with confidence.

We're now looking for an Operational Assurance Learning Partner to join our Glasgow office. This is a key role within our Compliance function, focused on building the skills, knowledge, and confidence of colleagues across the business so they can meet objectives and deliver consistently excellent customer outcomes.

This role is about more than delivering training: you'll be working closely with operational leaders, quality auditors and compliance colleagues to translate assurance insights into targeted learning and development programmes. By doing so, you'll directly strengthen both performance and compliance across our business.

Key Responsibilities



Translate findings from Operational Assurance activity into practical development programmes that address root causes and build capability.

Work with leaders across all business areas to understand their objectives and identify the skills and knowledge colleagues need to achieve them.

Design, deliver and evaluate engaging training for both new and existing colleagues that support ongoing competence, address emerging risks and strengthen consistency of approach.

Support the implementation and delivery of the Training & Competence (T&C) scheme, ensuring standards are clear and supporting teams to achieve the required standards.

Support with development of digital learning content via the LMS, ensuring training is accessible, current and aligned to business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience



Essential:



Strong understanding of FCA regulatory requirements (particularly CONC 8) and the Consumer Duty

Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging training that builds skills and confidence.

Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences.

Ability to understand skill gaps and translate assurance findings into learning solutions that improve outcomes.

Collaborative approach, able to build relationships with leaders and colleague across functions.

Enthusiastic and proactive with an ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.

Desirable:



Experience supporting FCA Training & Competence schemes

Exposure to digital learning design tools or e-learning software

Recognised training or coaching qualification (Eg TAP, CIPD or equivalent)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
