What would you do?
In this role you'll be an important part of our growing compliance team. The most crucial bit of the job is to protect both the company and our customers from harm. You'll be exposed to all elements of operational compliance, so it's a real chance to get a very broad range of experience. As we're a small company you'll need work closely with other areas, such as trading and marketing. Here's a bit more detail on what you'll do:
Review and monitor new accounts, financial transactions and betting patterns;
Review and process withdrawal requests from our customers;
Make sure we've got the correct level of due diligence on each customer;
Carry out extra due diligence checks on high-risk customers;
Assess and monitor both vulnerable and high-value customers, so we're doing affordability checks at the right time. Restrict these accounts and speak to customers when we need to.
Help to sort out any issues for our customers, whilst making sure we stay within the rules;
Spot any unusual or suspicious activity related to Responsible Gambling, Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud;
Help the team in day-to-day investigations and analysis of how a customer's behaving.
Advise, support and coach your less experienced team members.
Would we be a good match?
To be our perfect match, you'll need to:
Have worked in the customer facing departments within the online UK gambling industry for 3 years (or more).
Have two-year (or more) experience in a one of the following areas (Anti-Money Laundering, Responsible Gambling, Fraud and Risk Management).
High level of attention to detail and great analytical skills.
Be a good writer and communicator, writing and communicating in a way that feels clear, friendly and warm.
Be good in a team.
Be keen to learn and grow.
Have a positive outlook. Be proactive and forward thinking.
Have ability to manage workload effectively and on time.

What can you expect from us?
Hours of work and location: This is a full-time role either based in our Sheffield office or remote.
We'll need you to work 8.5-hour shifts, 5 days a week between the hours of 8:00am and 10.00pm including weekends and state/national holidays on a rota basis.
Salary: The salary for this role is between 25-30K per year. You'll be offered a salary within this range, depending on your past experience.
