Operations & Asset Management - Control Centre

Hours:

37.5 per week (Monday-Friday, 4-day rotating shift pattern, 9.3 hours per shift)

Control Centre

is at the heart of operations, delivering 24/7 monitoring, health and safety coordination, grid code services, and high-voltage support. We're now looking for an

Operational Controller

to join this busy and dynamic team.

About the Role




As an Operational Controller, you'll play a key role in keeping renewable energy sites safe, compliant, and running smoothly. From responding to incidents, to managing site access, to monitoring performance, no two days will be the same. You'll be part of the first line of response, working closely with engineers, technicians, asset managers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient site operations.

What You'll Be Doing



Responding to emergencies and coordinating incident response Managing site access and ensuring safety procedures are followed Issuing work orders and supporting maintenance teams on site Monitoring site performance using SCADA systems and reporting results Maintaining accurate records and updating databases Supporting the development of new processes and training new colleagues

What We're Looking For



Good IT skills, confident with Microsoft Office and able to pick up new software quickly Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexible team player who can work within a rota system Full UK driving licence

Desirable, but not essential:



Experience in a control-room or procedurally driven environment ECDL qualification Telephone call handling experience
