The Job Mission



This role supports the development and delivery of the Periodic Testing Programme at Hinkley Point C.

You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary pre-operations team.

You'll help translate technical documentation into operational strategies.

Your responsibilities include:

Analyse technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, and test instructions. Assist in the creation of Periodic Testing Operational Instructions (PTOIs). Support planning and scheduling activities for testing programmes. Liaise with HPC departments, EDF stakeholders, and international partners. Assist in developing surveillance programme strategy and requirements. Help define and document operational processes and procedures. Ensure delivery aligns with industry operating experience and best practice. Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance across documentation.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications



HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (or higher). Experience with mechanical, electrical or I&C plant systems. Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings. Strong written skills for document and procedure creation. Capable of planning and executing technical work scopes. Experience working in a project or commissioning environment. Able to collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Proven ability to follow and develop operational procedures.

Degree in Engineering or related technical field. Prior exposure to nuclear or highly regulated industries. Familiarity with surveillance or periodic testing programmes. Understanding of asset management or work management systems. Experience working with international engineering suppliers.
