We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Operational lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and supervisory experience, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a operational lead, you will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing workflow, and maintaining high standards of service and productivity.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure optimal performance. Provide training and support to new employees, fostering a positive work environment. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. and becoming familiar with WAST expectations. Assist in scheduling staff to meet operational needs while considering employee availability. Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock management as required. Must be prepared to travel across South Wales on a regular basis to monitor teams in all areas. Must be operational, working shifts as well as managing teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks and priorities. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
