We're looking for an
Operational Recruitment Lead
to help us attract, assess, and onboard the people who make that happen.
This is a supervisory role that reports to the Recruitment Business Partner, coordinating the workload of the Onboarding and Referencing team to ensure smooth delivery of high-volume recruitment campaigns and achievement of our workforce growth targets.
About the Role
Lead and deliver high-volume recruitment campaigns for key operational and customer-facing roles.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle - from attraction and assessment to offer and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
Oversee candidate communications and ensure an exceptional applicant experience.
Track progress using dashboards and project plans, reporting on performance and outcomes.
Drive process improvements using data insights and feedback.
Supervise and support the Recruitment Coordinator and Onboarding team.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workforce readiness and compliance.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
Passionate about providing a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Experience delivering training and/or recruitment events.
Desirable:
Experience recruiting within security, facilities, or customer service sectors.
Knowledge of Airport Gateway, Vetting Gateway, and/or CAA vetting processes.
Understanding of employment law and right-to-work compliance.
CIPD or equivalent qualification in HR/Recruitment desirable.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools.
