Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off | 12-hour shifts | 48 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Reports to: Depot Manager

We're looking for an Operational Shift Manager to lead the daily operations at our Manchester Cash Centre. This is a crucial leadership role in a high-security, service-critical environment. Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage all Manchester-based operational staff during your shift.

Oversee daily operations within the cash centre and on the road (CIT fleet).

Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational excellence.

Conduct daily huddles and tier meetings across departments.

Deliver effective training, coaching, and performance reviews.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean tools (Kaizen, Gemba walks).

Maintain high compliance and safety standards across teams and fleet.

Deputise for the Depot Manager when required.

What We're Looking For:



Proven ability to lead, inspire, and coach teams in a high-pressure environment.

Strong communicator who can tailor messaging to suit the audience.

Adaptable and solution-oriented with strong decision-making skills.

Skilled in prioritisation, time management, and performance tracking.

Experience in managing security-sensitive operations or logistics preferred.

Familiar with operational audits, 5S standards, and fleet compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,499.00 per year
