Location: Manchester Contract: 6-month contract (potential to go permanent) Start Date: w/c 5th January Hours: 40 hours per week, 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday (flexibility may occasionally be required) Pay Rate: 18.57 per hour/36,211.50 (pro-rated) Benefits: Paid breaks, free on-site parking About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and adaptable Operational Support Analyst to support their operational and technology transformation projects. You'll support new processes, systems, and ways of working. The role blends on-the-ground operational support, training, and office-based analytical work. What You'll Be Doing
Investigate issues with self-service kiosks, check-in desks, and airline systems when faults occur.
Speak with passengers and airline staff to understand problems and relay insights.
Quickly learn and adapt to different airline check-in processes.
Take ownership of assigned zones and check-in areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation.
Work with both airport systems and third-party airline software/hardware supporting live operations.
2. Training & Change Management
Train airline and airport teams on new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
Support lifelike proving, testing real-world operational scenarios before they go live.
3. Documentation & Business Case Support
Produce clear and concise training guides, briefing packs, and process documentation.
Contribute to business case development for airline engagement.
Write findings and insights reports following trials or operational tests.
4. Office-Based Analytical Work
Prepare and run lifelike proving sessions, gather insights, and turn them into structured reports.
Support wider project and change initiatives across the operation.
What We're Looking For
A recent graduate - degrees such as Marketing, Publishing, Business, or similar are welcome.
Strong people skills and confidence communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and stay resilient in a fast-paced environment.
Someone self-driven who enjoys both hands-on operational work and office-based analysis.
Experience or interest in aviation, customer-facing roles, operations, or change management is a bonus-but not essential. Why Join MAG?
