In our Professional Support Service, you'll play a vital role, supporting Children's Services on an administrative basis, you'll contribute significantly to Children's Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. What is the job role?

Children's Services provides a wide range of statutory and non-statutory duties, from Early Help Services, through to children who are looked after.

We are at the very heart of Children's Services in Coventry, working with colleagues at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

When you join our service, you'll be working alongside people who are passionate about what they do and determined to make a difference.


This role will be based in the Youth Justice Service, which includes working with Multi-Agency Safeguarding Teams. It is a fast-paced, energetic and exciting area to work in, where you will be part of a close-knit team.


In this role, you will be responsible for handling calls from both professionals and members of the public, actioning and responding to emails, minuting varied professional meetings, updating case management systems and working in a fast-paced environment. You will promote a positive working culture where Children are at the heart of everything we do.

Whilst our positions are open to all applicants, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role therefore all applicants must have a Right to Work in the UK. If you are on a limited visa, you must have a minimum of two years remaining

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
