Job Description

We're seeking a proactive and driven Operational Team Leader to lead a team within our Motor First Party Claims function, specializing in Total Loss. This role requires someone who leads from the front, champions a culture of openness, and delivers results through people focused leadership. You will also play a key role in ensuring we're there for our customers when they need us the most with speed, ease and understanding.

Working hours:

37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday. Rotating shifts between the hours of 8am to 6pm. Plus 1 in 5 Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.

Salary:

34,710-43,797 plus an achievable annual bonus of 2500, paid quarterly



What you will be doing:



Lead, coach, and develop a team of first party claims handlers to meet and exceed performance measures Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and objective setting Foster a positive, inclusive team culture focused on coaching to quality, accountability and growth Support wellbeing, manage absence, and handle HR related matters (probation, support improvement plans etc) Champion continuous improvement and process efficiency within the department Collaborate with other team leaders and managers to ensure alignment across departments Ability to interpret MI and use data to drive performance Monitor claim quality and compliance through regular audit and feedback loops
