As a Operational Transport Planner, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day transportation operations of our company. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, scheduling deliveries, tracking shipments, and ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

:

Logistics Coordination

: Schedule and dispatch transport services to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.

Route Optimization

: Plan and optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.

Communication

: Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments to address any issues or delays.

Tracking

: Monitor the progress of shipments and ensure that deliveries are on time.

Documentation

: Ensure all transport-related documents, including delivery receipts, invoices, and permits, are accurate and up-to-date.

Problem Resolution

: Quickly address any transportation issues that arise, such as delays, reroutes, or vehicle breakdowns.

Compliance

: Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

:

Proven experience as a Transport Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or in a similar role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with transportation software and tracking systems. Knowledge of logistics regulations and safety standards. Ability to solve problems under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate vehicles (preferred). High school diploma; a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.
