This is an opportunity for someone looking to break into the Wealth Management industry. Working within the Operations Department in support of client facing wealth generators, the role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to learn the fundamental administrative processes involved in servicing client\xe2\x80\x99s accounts.

About the Role

The Asset Servicing team is responsible for identifying, collecting and processing benefit entitlements in the form of new shares and cash, that are due on client assets held in custody by Quilter Cheviot.

Amongst other things the successful candidate will assist in the processes to collect, reconcile and allocate all corporate action and dividend entitlements ensuring that they are accurately reflected on client\xe2\x80\x99s accounts and where applicable, client consolidated tax packs.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with proxy voting instructions, responding to statutory beneficial owner enquiries, reacting to reconciliation differences, identifying and following up on all unreceived dividends and the scrutiny review and recording of client tax declaration forms.

The role involves working closely with all other internal operational teams, internal client facing teams, external custodians and transfer agencies/registrars.

About You

As a trainee opportunity, this role does not require any specific previous role experience although prior use and exposure of the Microsoft Office suite of applications will be a distinct advantage, as will the ability to communicate in a confident and clear manner. If you are looking to start a career in the finance industry we will offer you the necessary support, training and guidance to achieve this within our Operations Department.

In addition to this staff are encouraged to undertake the \xe2\x80\x9cInvestment Operation Certificate (IOC)\xe2\x80\x9d, an industry standard qualification that demonstrates competence in the core fundamentals that underpin our operational processes. Candidates will be supported through this qualification both financially and with study leave.
