Job Description


Location: Hybrid. Mainly working from home (applicants must have capacity to be set up with printing facilities), however the successful applicant will be required to travel to Local Care Homes / Company offices when necessary to undertake large print jobs, take minutes and other duties required, as and when requested.
Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays

The Avery Group are seeking a Regional Operations Administrator with an excellent eye for detail to join our team supporting our care homes and operations team with smooth and efficient processed-based administrative tasks.

The responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • To provide day-to-day support to our care homes and operations team by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of processed-based administrative tasks
  • Handling incoming calls
  • Dealing with and responding to a high volume of emails
  • Organisation of meetings and booking staff on training courses
  • Maintaining in-house systems and logs
  • Processing stationery and care plan form orders
  • Preparing induction folders for new starters
  • Logging and forward planning of staff supervisions and probationary reviews
  • Assisting with annual staff and resident surveys
  • Checking and approving driving licences
  • Developing good working relationships with our care homes, operations team and external suppliers
What we need from you
  • Proven experience in an administrative role is essential
  • The ability to deal with a fast-paced environment with resilience and flexibility
  • Able to work autonomously and in a reactive way
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • A genuine team player that is willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • Well organised and focused with excellent time management
  • A calm and professional telephone manner
  • Good IT skills, including MS Outlook, Excel and Word
About You

Applicants must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook and have a minimum of 3 years administration experience.

The role also includes taking incoming calls, therefore a clear, calm and professional telephone manner is essential.
