Full Time (1.0 FTE, 37 hours)
Salary: 24,215 to 26,093 per annum* plus 4,157.40 London Weighting Allowance per annum
Location: London Campus
*UWTSD is proud to be an Accredited Living Wage Employer. The Voluntary Living Wage (VLW) is 13.85 per hour. We will apply an adjustment to the rate of pay for this role to increase it to 28,778 per annum plus London Weighting.

THE ROLE
The role of Operations Administrator is concerned with the delivery of a front-facing support service and behind the scenes administrative support, playing an integral role in delivering an excellent customer and administrative service on campus. The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively and pro-actively without constant supervision. In order to deliver an effective customer-focused service, flexibility in terms of work and team support will be vital. The successful candidate will need to be focused on delivering high quality standards in service and will be expected to have sound knowledge of processes and procedures relating to the Campus' administration as well as a good working knowledge of the broader aims and objectives of the UWTSD. Finally, the successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing and triaging incoming correspondence and enquiries, by email, over the phone and face-to-face.

REQUIREMENTS
You should have:
  • Good level of general education
  • Previous experience in providing high quality administrative support
  • Ability to demonstrate organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • IT literate possessing knowledge of Microsoft Office packages inc. experience of using these programs in a working environment
  • Experience of dealing with difficult and high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates respect for a diverse range of people and recognises the importance of building sound working relationships, as well as the need for confidentiality
  • Prepared to work flexibly, including traveling between sites/locations when required
  • Adopts a positive approach to personal learning and development
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Annual leave entitlement is 28 days', plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days.
