Salary: 17 per hour -- 24,752 per year (pro rata) FTE: 32,708 (based on 37 hours)

Purpose of the Role
To ensure the smooth running of Home-Start Teesside's day-to-day operations through effective data management, system development and admin support. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting service delivery, and raising awareness of our work through social media and our website. This will help us recruit more volunteers and support more families in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Database and Systems Management
Manage the back end of online databases (e.g. Charity Log), including creating templates and generating reports.
Ensure data is entered accurately and supports organisational reporting needs.
Administration and Office Support
Carry out general office duties: filing, diary management, word-processing, photocopying, and mailings.
Support coordinators with record-keeping and data collation.
Prepare reports, newsletters, and meeting minutes.
Digital Communication and Social Media
Keep the website up to date with relevant information
Grow our reach and volunteer engagement through social media.
Create and schedule posts aligned with our service and campaigns.
Team and Governance Support
Provide admin support for events and meetings.
If required, assist with board meeting prep: agendas, reports, and minutes.
Generate monthly income/expenditure summaries for the Treasurer (if needed).
Other
Promote inclusive and respectful communication across all work.
Adhere to Home-Start Teesside's safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality policies.
Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold our values.
Personal Attributes & Skills
Strong admin and IT skills (particularly Excel, Word, databases, and scheduling tools).
Confidence working with digital systems and solving practical problems.
Organised, detail-focused and proactive.
Able to work independently and manage competing tasks.
