Job Title: Operations Assistant / Coach Driver

Location: Heckmondwike (near Huddersfield, Bradford & Dewsbury)

Calder Coaches is a family-run coach and bus company providing reliable transport across West Yorkshire and beyond. We are looking for a motivated and flexible Operations Assistant / Driver to join our team and support the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This is a varied role that will involve both office-based and on-the-road duties. You will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our services run smoothly and our fleet is kept in top condition.

Key responsibilities include:

Answering calls and responding to emails from customers and suppliers Supporting drivers with schedules and enquiries Assisting with compliance and operational paperwork Mixed driving duties
Requirements (Must Have)

Category D (PCV) licence Valid Driver CPC card Tacho Card DBS certificate Flexible, reliable, and a team player with a proactive attitude
Desirable (Preferable)

Experience in transport operations Familiarity with Distinctive Coach Manager software Living locally to Heckmondwike / West Yorkshire
Working Hours

Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-14.72 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
