Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Coach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Operate the bus in a safe and efficient manner, following designated routes and schedules. Ensure the safety of all passengers while boarding, travelling, and alighting from the bus. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any delays. Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Report any mechanical issues or accidents to management promptly. Assist with loading and unloading luggage or equipment when necessary.

Skills

Previous experience as a Coach Driver or Bus Driver is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential. Knowledge of flatbed operations is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to drive safely under various conditions while maintaining focus on the road. Experience in warehouse operations may be helpful for logistical aspects of the role.

Pay: 13.25 per hour
