We are an independent Plumbing & Heating Merchants who offer a wide range of Plumbing & Heating materials along with having an in-house Tile & Bathroom Showroom. We are looking for a motivated and capable, multi skilled Individual to be a key all round part of our team.

We Require no previous experience in the Plumbing, Heating and Showroom Industry and ask only for a willingness and ability to learn quickly and show a strong work ethic across various responsibilities. We require a level of good Mechanical and physical comprehension, common sense, and a good level of communication within a team and with Customers.

This role requires the ability to follow direction and to effectively manage your own use of time to fulfil the needs of a varied working day. The successful candidate will be judged on their aptitude and character on interview so if you feel like you are a dependable and reliable asset to our team then we encourage you to apply.

WAREHOUSE DUTIES:

- Accepting and checking of Goods In

- Accurately Booking in Deliveries on Computer System

- Safely and effectively Organising and Storing goods in Warehouse & labelling if required.

- Picking Orders for Counter Collections and Deliveries

- Manual Labour with Use of Mechanical Aids (Lifting and Working over 2 Floors)

- Ownership and arranging of Storage Solutions and Stock Checking.

- Forklift License (Training Provided) - If we provide the forklift training, we require a minimum of 12 months service or cost to be repatriated if Employment terminated sooner.

DRIVING DUTIES:

Full Manual License

- Accurately Picking Goods and Loading onto Van

- Assessing and Securing Load to prevent Damage.

- Basic maintenance checks on Van (Oil Level, Coolant, Tyre Condition).

- Contacting customers and arranging details and timings for deliveries.

COUNTER DUTIES:

- Answering Telephone Calls and if unable to assist taking effective and accurate messages.

- Ability to Learn and Retain a

BASIC

knowledge of stocked items. Training will be provided, No previous knowledge Required.

- Picking Orders.

- Price Checking Supplier Order Confirmations.

- Taking Basic Customer Orders on Trade Counter. Basic Training will be Provided and Assistance readily Available.

Successful applicants will require -

Clean full UK manual driving licence.

Ability to maintain a vehicle.

Held licence for 8 years

Forklift experience preferred.

Have experience with computers.
