Aspect Flooring Limited offer a supply and install flooring service to newbuild, commercial and domestic contracts.
The Operations Assistant provides essential support to the Operations Manager. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant. As an integral part of our organisation, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, assisting our Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth running of our live projects. Producing work orders, organising, and ordering materials when required. You will also be dealing with our subcontractors on a day-to-day basis as well as our suppliers and the builders whom we have contracts with. Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, emails and correspondence and routing them to the appropriate departments.
Assist the Operations Manager in scheduling and coordinating site works/appointments, ordering materials, and ensuring material is available as required for each booking.
Producing relevant fitters' paperwork/orders from housebuilder choices and keeping the files updated.
Maintain accurate and organised records of all site-related correspondence, site instructions and amendments.
Requirements:
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask whilst under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and document management.
Proficiency in using basic office software, including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook emails).
Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive and cooperative attitude towards colleague and visitors.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in the work environment.
Flooring/Construction industry background advantageous.
