At The George & Dragon, we're passionate about great food, great service, and creating a place people love to come back to.
We're now looking for a proactive and organised Operations Assistant to work closely with our management team and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing
Your days will be varied you might be:
Updating and printing menus and event posters
Helping the managers with inventory
Organising files and documents (digital and paper)
Lending a hand with social media posts or promotions
Generally being the "glue" that keeps the office side in order
While your main focus will be keeping the admin and operations side running smoothly, you'll also be happy to jump in and lend a hand in the pub during really busy times, we're a small team and everyone mucks in when needed.
You'll be based mainly at the pub, but we're flexible some work can be done from home once you're up to speed.
About You
We're looking for someone who's:
Friendly, reliable, and loves hospitality
Naturally organised with an eye for detail
Confident using basic computer tools (Word, Excel/Sheets, Canva, email)
Able to work independently
Comfortable communicating with managers
This would suit someone with admin or office experience who enjoys being part of a lively, community-focused environment.
