Operations Associate (instructional Content) 12 Month Maternity Cover

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About the role

We are on a mission to build the most effective multimedia learning experiences in the world, and we need your expertise to make it happen. Our Content and Learning team is hard at work creating our first wave of GCSE Science courses, and improving our existing A-Level offering.

Our courses are each made up of hundreds of short animated videos, along with interactive quizzes to consolidate learning and test understanding. In the Content Operations function, we ensure that this content development process runs to schedule, and that everyone in the wider team has what they need to work at their best. We also process and action feedback from our thousands of students, to make our world-class content even better.

As a Content Operations Associate, you'll work across three main areas:

Project coordination: allocate work to Subject Leads, Content Developers and freelance contractors, helping the team stick to deadlines and budget constraints Content improvement processes: triage, allocate, review and track improvements to existing content Content management: use our back end Admin pages to ensure all lessons and quizzes are in the right place.

Where appropriate, we develop and use generative AI tools to assist Content Developers in their workflow. As part of the Content Operations team, you will help us test and iterate tools like these.

We're a small company (<50 employees), and so we often pitch in when another team needs help. For example, our Content Operations team often lends operational skills and support to the wider company, to help everyone do their best work.
