We're looking for a forward-thinking Operations & Compliance Manager with proven leadership in care or autism services. You'll set up, run, and grow a model designed to become a benchmark for quality and impact across Wales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all compliance, governance, and registration processes to the highest standard.
Oversee staff recruitment, induction, and retention, building a motivated, long-term team.
Create individual development plans with measurable outcomes for service users.
Produce clear reports on care quality, staffing, finance, and performance.
Identify when to appoint Team Leaders and Deputies as the centre scales.
Build strong relationships with commissioners and local authorities to ensure growth and occupancy.
Collaborate on marketing and community outreach to make the service the most trusted and in-demand in the region.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of service delivery
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' management experience in adult social care, autism, or learning disability settings.
Strong knowledge of CIW/CQC standards, safeguarding, and quality frameworks.
Experience launching or managing new services and teams.
Skilled in reporting, KPIs, and operational oversight.
Commercially aware, driven, and able to treat the role as your own business.
Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) and a full UK driving licence.
