Operations Coordinator
to join our dynamic Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in operations and logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our e-commerce, logistics, and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
Handle customer communications regarding orders, deliveries, stock availability, and product queries.
Accurately process e-commerce sales across platforms such as our website, Amazon, eBay, and B&Q.
Manage Klarna payments and ensure accuracy of transactions.
Monitor and manage back orders daily.
Notify Team Managers of any out-of-stock items.
Email & Customer Communication
Process purchase orders received via email.
Ensure appropriate delivery services and payment methods are applied.
Respond to customer enquiries in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
Log, resolve, and follow up on customer issues and internal tasks.
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate daily with logistics partners regarding order dispatch and issue resolution.
Handle claims related to damaged or failed deliveries, including documentation.
Provide Proofs of Delivery (PODs) upon request.
Administrative Support
Track outstanding back orders and follow up as required.
Report any stock inconsistencies to the Line Manager.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
2 years of experience
in operations and logistics.
Strong IT skills and confidence with numerical data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure - both independently and within a small team.
Organised, self-motivated, and solutions-focused with a positive "can-do" attitude.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
40 hours per week
This is a
fully office-based role
located at our South Gyle site in Edinburgh.
