is looking for a confident and capable
Operations Coordinator

The Role
As Operations Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient daily operations. This role requires a confident leader with a proven track record in dental practice management, strong CQC knowledge, and exceptional people skills.You will manage a team of 11 (including clinicians, dental nurses, and front-of-house staff), oversee schedules and diary management, and be the first point of contact for handling patient complaints and internal queries. to maintain standards and support performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Hull practice, ensuring everything runs efficiently
Ensure all
CQC regulations
are met and maintained to a high standard
Handle
audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks
with accuracy and organisation
Lead, support, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 11 including front of house and clinicians
Manage and coordinate diaries and schedules to maintain flow and reduce downtime
Act as the
first point of contact for patient complaints
, ensuring effective and professional resolution
Work collaboratively with the
Treatment Coordinator
to monitor and support practice performance and targets
Maintain high levels of team communication, morale, and accountability
Drive a respectful, professional culture within the team and wider business
Support new staff onboarding and ongoing performance management
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism are maintained in all sensitive matters
Be flexible to occasional Saturday working (currently not open Saturdays but may change)
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in dental practice management

Strong understanding of CQC compliance

Proven experience with audits, compliance procedures, and risk assessments
Confident in managing a clinical and non-clinical team
Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
Able to handle complaints, difficult conversations, and team matters with professionalism
Clear communicator who is approachable, confident, and calm under pressure
Tech-savvy and able to work with dental software systems and practice tools
A team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
