Codamotion is a small family company that creates movement analysis technology. Our rich heritage has seen systems deployed on the International Space Station and used in neuroscience research, sports science, rehabilitation, and ergonomics. We are currently undergoing a period of strategic transition, building toward the next generation of products while sustaining a loyal research user base.
We're looking for a thoughtful and capable Operations Coordinator to help shape and support our daily operations; someone who's resourceful, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
The Role
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with lots of variety and autonomy. You'll be a key part of keeping the company running smoothly; managing logistics, compliance, internal systems, and office coordination. It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, spotting improvements, and learning by doing.
As you grow into the role, you'll have the chance to take full ownership of key business processes and explore areas like compliance, digital systems, or operational leadership.
Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics
Manage domestic and international shipping (including documentation and export compliance).
Coordinate with customers and suppliers on logistics matters.
Maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
Oversee day-to-day office operations and maintenance.
Compile quarterly reports.
Compliance & Quality
Maintain compliance documentation (e.g., GDPR, fire safety, HR essentials).
Help build and manage our Quality Management System (e.g., SOPs, document control, quality manual).
Handle regulatory obligations (e.g., WEEE, packaging, AR registrations).
Lead on health & safety and risk assessments.
Systems & Projects
Maintain and improve internal processes and documentation.
Contribute to or lead small projects (e.g., digitising archives).
Support continuous improvement efforts across the business.
What We're Looking For
We're open to a range of backgrounds, but you should be someone who will:
Thrive in a small, collaborative team.
Bring strong organisational skills and good judgement.
Are proactive and enjoy learning on the fly.
Communicate confidently with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Are interested in operations, compliance, and systems, and want to grow your expertise.
Are based near Oxford and can be on-site at least 3 days per week.
Have the full right to work in the UK.
