Eneco UK owns and operates 230MW of onshore wind and solar assets in the UK. Asset management is carried out by the main office of Eneco UK in Inverness. The downstream part of the Eneco UK business is located in London.
Role Description
Eneco is seeking a new member of the team, working closely with other staff members, to deliver the following:
Coordinating equipment maintenance and service contracts.
Scheduling and organizing meetings, events, and travel.
Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.
Project support
Assisting with project documentation (permits, contracts, safety documents).
Managing procurement process
Supporting/organizing community engagement events.
Generate weekly invoice management reports.
Data management
Entering and maintaining project and operational data
Producing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
Supporting environmental and compliance reporting inc ESG
Compliance
Helping maintain compliance records with regulatory agencies (e.g., HSE, SEPA, local governments).
Ensuring licenses, inspections, and safety certifications are up-to-date (PPE, Lifting equipment etc)
Assisting in internal and external audits.
HR
Supporting onboarding and training of new hires.
Maintaining employee records and certifications (GWO, First Aid, Fire etc).
Scheduling safety training and coordinating renewals.
Assisting payroll coordination.
Candidate profile
The skill, experience and knowledge sought for this new position include:
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in computerised systems including Microsoft Office applications for document creation and management
Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Demonstrated phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and colleagues
Ideally the candidate will have the following
:
Relevant educational qualifications, particularly in Maths and English
Previous admin experience in an office environment.
Experience in the energy industry.
A UK driving licence
An ability to self-manage (within a supportive framework) and also be a good team player;
Able to work interdependently in remote, matrix and country-wide teams;
Agile and able to balance speed with quality to deliver results;
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to form and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
Adaptable in a growing market organisation;
Willingness to travel to project sites on occasion.
Commitment to the vision of a low carbon future.
Location
Inverness Scotland.
Flexible but broadly based on 40:20:40. A combination of home and office (2 days each per week) with the fifth day being flexible and allocated according to business need. This may be home, office, customer location or other meeting place.
We will be encouraging travel optimisation, using lower carbon travel wherever possible and supporting online collaborative working in environments such as Microsoft Teams.
