We're looking for an
Operations Coordinator
to bring calm to the chaos. In this role, you'll be the go-to person who ensures our operations run efficiently every single day. You'll help lead the behind-the-scenes effort that powers the work of our field teams, keeps suppliers on track, and ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
What You'll Do
From keeping costs lean to helping us win work, your role is all about supporting smart decisions and seamless operations:
Assist in managing smooth logistics for our field teams
Manage the organisation of (and help) during shed deliveries to the yard
Route sales enquiries to the right people and ensure fast follow-up
Build strong relationships with our suppliers and negotiate better deals
Work closely with our CEO to cut material costs by at least 5%
Manage stock at the yard - timber, soil, ironmongery, and more - making sure we're always prepared
Coordinate plant and equipment hire, keeping projects moving and on budget
Prepare annual maintenance quote packages for 2026 clients
Step in as 2nd-line phone support when needed - friendly, calm, and on the ball
Help the finance team by processing receipts and flagging supplier discrepancies
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for someone with natural initiative, great people skills, and an ability to juggle multiple priorities at once:
Experience in a coordination, admin, or supplier-facing role
Confident communicator - both with customers and suppliers
Great at organising data, tracking stock, and keeping tabs on moving parts
Happy working independently and closely with leadership
Comfortable using systems like Jobber, Excel, or CRM tools (training provided if needed)
A keen eye for saving money and solving problems
