About the ERICC Project
The Evidence for Resilient and Inclusive Climate Change (ERICC) project is a global research initiative focused on generating evidence to support inclusive, climate-resilient development. ERICC brings together leading researchers and practitioners to influence policy and improve outcomes in climate-affected regions.
Position Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator & Consultant to support the smooth implementation of the ERICC project. This role plays a key part in the coordination of research activities, project operations, partner engagement, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and consortium partners, including the International Rescue Committee (IRC), to ensure project activities are delivered efficiently and in compliance with donor and consortium requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operational and logistical components of the ERICC research project.
Organise and coordinate research meetings, workshops, and internal communications.
Liaise with project partners and stakeholders, especially the IRC and other consortium members.
Lead quarterly reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with donor and internal expectations.
Monitor compliance with financial, administrative, and legal requirements.
Support the planning and delivery of research activities, including fieldwork logistics.
Assist with reviewing and coordinating the production of research outputs and publications when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, International Development, Public Administration).
Minimum 3 years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in a research or development context.
Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and across time zones.
Familiarity with reporting processes and donor compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar).
Preferred:
Experience working on education, international development or climate change-related projects.
Familiarity with academic or research environments.
