The operations team works in close cooperation with both the sales and production teams to ensure external and internal needs and targets are met. Working hours are;
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Friday - 7.30am - 12.30pm
Key Tasks:
1. Process supplier invoices, purchase order acknowledgements, delivery, notes, and material certificates
2. Liaise with production and despatch departments to progress customer orders.
3. Arrange material certificates.
4. Run minimum stock re-order reports.
5. Enter new parts on the system including new Bill of Materials (BOM's).
6. Work with production to meet the production schedule.
7. Participate in regular team meetings and reviews.
8. Propose improvements to company procedures. Key Skills: 1. A flexible approach and ability to multi-task within a small team. 2. Proficiency in MS Office with familiarity of SAP an advantage. 3. Excellent attention to detail. 4. Able to work independently and take initiative. 5. Able to communicate well. 6. Able to prioritise and switch between departmental tasks.
