Job Description

Job purpose:

Responsible for providing support to the sales and operations team, with responsibility for ensuring the overall success of the relationship between FET and the customer.

Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)



Inside Sales



Generate sales related documents including but not limited to quotations, sales orders and shipping documentation. Ensure response to customer enquiries for product information, availability, order status and pricing is given in a timely manner. Communication of order progress with customers and the sales team about the various order updates as soon as possible. Follow up and close out of outstanding quotes with customers. Support regional sales and operations team.

Logistics



Control and expedite import and export of goods to fulfil the predetermined delivery requirements. Create, manage and maintain accurate records of export/import documentation within various databases to comply with import and export licences/customs regulations and customer requirements. Prepare logistics and product quotations in response to queries by internal/external customers. Ensure all policies are adhered to and required documentation is correctly recorded/stored. Effectively manage, work allocation and prioritisation of daily workload.

Accountabilities:



Ensure all sales orders transactions are tracked and executed on in a timely manner Ensure responses are given within the required time frame Provide prices in accordance with Company rules and customer agreements Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed with the correct details and in accordance with quality procedures Ensure information is available to allow Sales invoices to be prepared in a timely & accurate manner Ensure deliveries are made to meet customer requirements Any other jobs responsibilities in the sales group that fit into work area of responsibilities and duties as required

Education/Qualifications (essential):



Secondary school qualifications

Technical Competencies:



Proficient in use of Microsoft packages - predominantly Excel Working knowledge of Business Central (Navision) is desired

Key Skills (essential):



Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Team player Customer focused with ability to meet all deadline requirements

Experience (essential):



Previous experience in same or similar commercial discipline

QHSE Competencies:



Maintain behaviour in compliance with FET HSE requirements. Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour. Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
