An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Operations Assistant to join ASH Waste Services Limited based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Working on site, the Transport Operations Assistant, under the direction of Operations Manager, will coordinate the day to day planning, efficient and effective routing for the fleet to complete all required work. You will liaise with customers to understand and manage their contract requirements whilst supporting all day to day issues that arise and find solutions.

In addition, the Transport Operations Assistant will be the first point of contact for driver queries, holiday booking, as well processing all required documentation, site reception, inquiries and general office duties.

The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience of working within a fast paced Transport Operation, undertaken planning or routing vehicles. With excellent communication (written and oral) and inter-personal skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team, be organised and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,500.00-26,500.00 per year
