The Role
The main role is to support the Operations Team in delivering their objectives ensuring all documents, processes and procedures are adhered to recorded and processed accordingly. Providing administrative support to the Operations Team. Stock control, yard duties including offloading using telehandler (Training will be given if required), adhering to H&S policy in and around the workplace. Stock checks periodically. Inventory control of fixings, tools and sundries. Communicating with Clients/Customers. Liaising with operations team and other admin personnel.
The Person
Good problem solving skills and ability to work in a pressurised environment
Proven experience in an administrative role
Proficient with the Microsoft suite of software including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience of driving and operating a telehandler with ability to offload and reload palletised product preferred but not essential
Highly organised and excellent time management
Ability to self manage, highly self motivated and can work autonomously to achieve weekly objectives without supervision.
Quality focused with attention to detail
Flexible attitude with the ability to reprioritise as and when required.
Whilst full training will be given in our particular processes, it is imperative that you have experience in a similar role (not necessarily the industry) but experience in an administrative/coordinator role.
Experience in construction would be advantageous but not necessary, however experience in an industrial environment would be to your advantage.
