Where will you be working?





We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.


This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?





As our Operational Delivery Manager, you will be part of the Senior Management Team and will have P&L, SHEQ and customer responsibility for delivering a successful framework in the region.



You'll be managing and leadingthe Delivery Team to ensure client expectations are exceeded and deliver a safe and efficient programme of work.



You'll need to manage the safe and quality assured delivery of the project for our client to high standards. Ensure the correct processes and procedures are in place and followed for right first time and defect free delivery.

You'll be responsible for setting and delivering against financial budgets whilst delivering against the clients regulatory and measured targets. Managing, measuring, and reporting financial, schedule and quality information centrally and working closely in collaboration with our client.

You'll have the opportunity to build, lead, support and encourage the Delivery Team with their duties (training, mentoring and appraisal). Promote a culture of zero harm and zero compromise through proactive and leading measures. Lead by example and promote a positive behavioural safety, health, environment, and well-being culture.

You'll manage project delivery with a regular review of performance against cost and programme. Understand and manage key stakeholders in the region through proactive engagement.

You'll develop and maintain excellent relationships with our client and their customers to ensure M Group deliver customer satisfaction. Drive benefits to the end customer through a continuous improvement program instating CI initiatives.

You'll review internal and external best practices to fostering a culture of innovation. Drive efficiencies in cost and over performance in key KPI's and KPM's

What you'll bring




Are you degree qualified in construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar? Do you have experience and knowledge in a smart metering programme? Can you manage multidisciplinary teams in a regulated water environment at a senior level? Managing teams against milestones and budgets in a safe and profitable way Do you have effective communications skills with drive and energy to build and develop a first-class Delivery Team? Are you able to manage risk and business management with commercial and business acumen? NEBOSH or similar SMSTS APM or equivalent
