Position Overview



As Operations - Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will ensure that every aspect of the hotel, spa, and events runs with precision, consistency, and excellence. Your remit includes delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and executing the strategic vision set by the Board and General Manager.

You will lead by example--visible, hands-on, and fully engaged with your teams. Through clear communication, high standards, and collaborative leadership, you will mentor department heads, foster a culture of accountability and pride, and drive continuous improvement across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities



Lead managers and their teams in across the operations of the hotel, spa and events, fostering a culture of excellence Deliver a warm, personalised welcome and guide each guest through an exceptional stay Oversee service standards, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail at every touchpoint Collaborate with chefs and event planners to execute flawless menus and bespoke events Maintain immaculate presentation of all public and guest-facing areas Drive team training, performance reviews, and development plans to support career progression

Qualifications



Minimum 2-years of managerial experience in a hotel, restaurant, or events environment Natural leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire teams Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting Passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering personalised service Hands-on approach: willing to step in wherever needed and lead from the front
