Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Director of Operations

to oversee the daily functions and strategic direction of our Alternative Provision in the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple departments, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving organisational growth. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong supervisory skills, management expertise, and a proven track record in leading teams towards achieving business objectives.

Duties

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and strategies to optimise organisational performance. Oversee daily operations across various departments, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Lead, supervise, and motivate managers and staff to foster a high-performance culture. Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure timely delivery of objectives. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards. Represent the organisation at external meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

Proven

supervising experience

within a management or leadership capacity. Strong

management

skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams and projects simultaneously. Demonstrated

leadership

qualities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Management or related field. Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent organisational skills with a strategic mindset. Experience in developing policies and implementing organisational change is desirable.
