We're looking for a dynamic and strategic

Operations Director

to join our expanding team in this newly created role. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our business and the delivery of high impact, complex projects across the property restructuring sector.

About us



Fletcher Bond was founded in 2016 when we spotted a gap in the market for more inventive and ambitious solutions to complex property situations. We achieve outsized outcomes for commercial and private clients across the UK through advisory, restructuring and real estate services.

Whether you're facing a complex insolvency event or just want your property portfolio to perform better, our starting point is to find an inventive solution rather than accept the status quo. We combine real-world construction and property experience with commercial acumen and an open mindset to achieve outsized outcomes.

We have an excellent team of in-house restructuring surveyors and LPA Receivers and work directly with lenders and other Insolvency Practitioners, considering not just value recovery but also the art of the possible.

We are responsible for a growing portfolio of assets under management over a variety of uses including large blocks of completed and partially completed residential development, mixed-use commercial schemes covering industrial, office and retail / mixed use and part-complete development projects across England.

Your role



As our

Operations Director

, you'll lead all aspects of our operations with a strong focus on long term growth, profitability and performance. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Managing Director and play a key role within the senior leadership team. You'll be instrumental in implementing and overseeing processes and procedures that optimise output, enhance efficiency and support Fletcher Bond's continued success and growth.

Specifically you will:



Lead and enhance operational management, embedding clear structures, accountability and efficient communication across the team. Partner with the Managing Director to shape strategic direction, drive innovation and align operations with market trends and client needs. Oversee planning, marketing and performance tracking to ensure delivery against business goals. Support case management and client engagement, improving team performance and service quality. Monitor financial performance including revenue, WIP, billing and budgeting in collaboration with our Finance Manager. Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards, maintaining robust systems and documentation. Optimise resource allocation, scheduling and visibility of team capacity to deliver projects on time and within budget. Strengthen people management practices in partnership with our HR Consultant, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous development. Lead accreditation processes and promote best practice across RICS, IPA, NARA, HMRC, ICO and FSQS. Drive process improvement, innovation and adoption of future-ready systems and AI solutions. Represent Fletcher Bond at client meetings, conferences and industry events.

About you



To join us as our

, you will need:

Proven leadership in operations or programme/portfolio management, with experience in managing complex, multi-stream projects Strong track record in scaling operations, driving cultural change and implementing tech-driven solutions Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, financial oversight and performance metrics Experience in HR collaboration, talent development and cross-functional team leadership Excellent communication, decision-making and problem solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of computer literacy, ideally with experience in professional services and client relationship management.
