We are looking for a Manager of IT Operations & Infrastructure to join our fantastic team in London who help support our customers based in EMEA collaborating with colleagues around the globe. The team\xe2\x80\x99s scope includes the whole ecosystem of devices, workplace tools, platforms and infrastructure, both cloud and on premise. You will be driven and motivated by a desire to work with a diverse group of people to build something meaningful. You love taking great ideas, testing and implementing them to move the business forward.

Accountabilities

In this role you will be expected to:

• Deputise for the Head of IT
• Manage and supervise IT infrastructure and operations staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure they are meeting the organisation\'s goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Identify opportunities to improve the firm\'s technology capabilities and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure the smooth running of all technology systems, networks, and applications, and manage any incidents that arise. This includes running the service desk and ensuring that all incidents are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
• Lead the implementation of modern workplace technologies, including collaboration tools and cloud-based services, to increase productivity and support remote working.
• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure and operations budgets, including capital and operation.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure and operations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory best practice for systems security and general best practices.
• Stay up to date with new technologies, trends, and best practices and recommend changes or upgrades.

Experience, skills and professional attributes

• Extensive experience in managing technical teams and projects.
• Proven track record and success in a similar role
• Cloud Management Experience (security, reliability, optimisation, cost management & IAC)
• Extensive, relevant experience working with one or more of AWS, GCP or Azure

• Experience of SaaS, PaaS technologies from discovery, inception and through to implementation and the support of those systems
• A security first mindset with experience of supporting tools such as Crowdstrike, Okta and Duo or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Experience of collaborating with and supporting other technical teams such as security, service management, DevOps, engineering and enablement.
• In depth knowledge of service management (eg. ITIL 4), workflow management (eg. kanban, scrum) and knowledge management processes
• Cultural awareness and experience as part of an international team

You will be able to demonstrate

• Extensive experience in managing technical teams and projects
• Strong cloud management experience (preferable experience with security, reliability, optimisation, cost management & IAC)
• Security first mindset
• Experience in implementing and support SaaS and PaaS technologies from inception
• Excellent cross team collaboration skills (security, DevOps, engineering, service delivery)
