Role:



Due to continued growth Potter Cowan one of Ireland's leading independent distributors of kitchen products and components is seeking an Operations Manager. This role combines coordination and ensuring smooth delivery of kitchen projects from initial conception through to final installation on site. This role is critical in planning and managing all operational aspects, guaranteeing projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. while continually striving to drive growth and success of our Potter Cowan.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning:

Coordinate and plan kitchen projects from conception to final completion, ensuring all operational aspects are aligned.

Logistics Management:

Oversee scheduling, delivery, and installation logistics to ensure all materials and teams arrive on site as planned.

Contracts Oversight:

Manage contracts related to installation and site services, ensuring compliance, deadlines, and scope adherence.

Team Coordination:

Co-ordinate the logistics and contracts teams, including installation crews and subcontractors.

On-site Readiness:

Ensure all preparations are in place for successful on-site installation and handover.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise closely with design, sales, manufacturing, and installation teams to synchronise schedules and requirements.

Problem Solving:

Quickly address and resolve any operational challenges or delays during the project lifecycle.

Quality Control:

Maintain high standards throughout the delivery process to meet company and customer expectations.

Reporting:

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria



Proven experience in operations management, project coordination, or logistics within the kitchen, furniture, or construction sectors. Strong knowledge of contracts management and site operations. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proven experience of construction sites and health & safety requirements

Desirable Criteria



Experience in bespoke kitchen installations
