We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager, who will manage the Responsible Individuals over our mainstream homes for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. This will initially be 4 homes; 3 in East Lancashire and 1 in Bradford. This role requires a confident and competent leader, who is able to work autonomously to inspire their Responsible Individuals, Registered Managers and teams to deliver the highest quality and safest of care to children.
The role -
You will be responsible for directly line managing two Responsible Individuals, who between them are responsible for 4 Ofsted registered residential children's homes.
The homes are located in central and East Lancashire and Bradford.
Coach and support Responsible Individuals, enhancing the overall team performance.
Alongside the Responsible Individuals, develop and implement internal assurance processes to ensure the highest level of care is being delivered consistently.
Work alongside our Training Manager to ensure there is strategic planning around workforce training and development needs.
Lead on strategic business development initiatives for the company.
You will report directly to our Managing Director.
The ideal candidate -
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Children's Residential Services (or equivalent).
Significant experience in management roles within children's residential care settings.
Evidence of strong and successful management skills, with evidence of Ofsted inspection at either a good or outstanding level.
Previous experience as a Responsible Individual is desirable.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Knowledges of Children's Home Regulations.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
