Operations Manager Role - THRIFTED LIMITED

THRIFTED LTD is one of the leading online retailers of vintage and secondhand clothing in the UK & Europe. The main office & warehouse is based in Grays, Essex.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for vintage clothing to join our fast growing business as an Operations Manager.

Key Role Information:

Role title: Operations Manager

Role type: Full Time

Place of Work: 3 Cliffside Trade Park, Motherwell Way, Grays, RM20 3XD

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday 08:30am - 4:30pm

Pay: min. 35k - 40k based on experience.

Start Date: asap

The Role:

Our Operations Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the business and its teams, will help manage stock flow & quality and ensure smooth running of day to day processes.

Key responsibilities:

Stock :

Taking & organizing deliveries Managing & reporting stock levels Ensuring stock flow Stock quality control Stock authentication - spotting & removing fakes Grading & sorting deliveries Pricing website items Providing a stock calendar for marketing team Building deal / offer structure on a monthly basis
HR:

Team management Lead & manage warehouse teams - Packing, Ecommerce & Customer Service Handling day to day HR issues - sickness, absence etc Conduct reviews & set performance goals Lead hiring & help with onboarding
Buying:

Product strategy - for menswear & womenswear Communicate with suppliers - changes in products / trends Monitor sell throughs Check delivery quality Organise freight
Live Selling:

Manage live selling channel Help build into a daily profitable clearance channel
Events:

Plan & manage events alongside other members of the team
Retail support

Support shop teams Organise shop supply

We are looking for an individual who :

Can add value to the business through their experience Is willing to bring forward new ideas & approaches Can go beyond their key day to day responsibilities Wants to grow with the business Who is business and fashion minded
Required:

A strong knowledge base of vintage clothing Experience & knowledge of fashion trends - both in vintage & new fashion. Ideally some management experience Strong computer skills
