Join us at Practice Plus as an Operations Manager at The Junction Health Centre, working full-time (37.5 hours/week) on a permanent basis.
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and team development. You'll lead the Administration and Reception teams, act as a key liaison within the wider primary care team, and support both clinical and service management functions. Your leadership will help shape an outstanding patient experience and efficient day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and develop the non-clinical team through regular 1-to-1s, performance reviews, and tailored development plans.
Provide ongoing coaching and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage and resolve patient complaints professionally and promptly.
Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring compliance with Practice Plus policies and healthcare regulations.
Act as a point of escalation for complex administrative and reception issues.
Support the Service Manager and clinical team in service planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Take ownership of health and safety within the practice.

Who We're Looking For:
Proven people management experience with direct line management responsibility--ideally in a healthcare or GP setting.
Strong track record in team leadership, development, and performance management.
Skilled in handling complaints with sensitivity and professionalism.
Solid understanding of healthcare governance, quality assurance, and operational procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive under pressure.
