About the Role

As an operations Manager you will be responsible for the paper making operations of the Prudhoe site. Key to the success is its people. You will lead the papermaking department, using your passion for developing others to ensure that there is clear direction on strategy and talent growth.

What You Will Do

Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Director Manufacturing UK, Consumer Goods, this is a key management post at Prudhoe that will provide drive and leadership as the business continues to move forward with its ambitious plans. Within your new role you will have a small number of direct reports and have the opportunity for a great career with progression opportunities. You will provide solid and effective coaching and leadership to them. With full budget responsibility you will also work closely with Sourcing and other internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that key financial targets are met.

Key to the site\xe2\x80\x99s success is its people. You will lead the site, using your passion for developing others to ensure that there is clear direction on strategy and talent growth. This is a key management post within our consumer goods business that will provide drive and leadership as the business continues to move forward with its ambitious plans. Your experience of driving change through CI projects, your application of systems and standards to increase organisational capability, your experience of coaching and facilitating others using problem solving tools to reduce losses and increase efficiencies, will be invaluable in this role, as a CI focus is imperative to continually develop business results.

Who You Are
  • You will already be a successful leader who has achieved positive business results by eliminating losses in your operational area through your longer-term strategical planning and implementation.
  • You will be able to demonstrate that your experience leading others, managing budgets and priority setting has led you and your team to achieve \xe2\x80\x9cabove and beyond\xe2\x80\x9d.
  • As well as your high level of technical competence, your drive, your natural collaborative approach and successful coaching of others has shone a light on your ability.
  • You are keen to face a new challenge that will stretch you further as you focus on your career development \xe2\x80\x93 but it will be an opportunity that you relish and can\xe2\x80\x99t wait to embark upon, thus demonstrating your rigor, courage and business acumen.
  • Without your effective communication skills that have engaged others and thus meeting targets, you would not have been able to achieve what you have done already.
  • As a gifted problem solver who has demonstrable experience in Root Cause Analysis or other methodological approaches you have shown your ability to take the right decisions, assessing any risks.
