We are seeking multiple Operations Managers across several locations: Bridgwater; TA6 6TS, Weston; BS24 7TG, Avonmouth; BS11 9AT, Brockworth; GL3 4AJ & Severn Beach, BS35 4GG.
We will be able to 'go live' with recruitment in the next few weeks, after a CV sift from the hiring managers, we will invite you to interview; which is likely to be a 2 step interview processing; initial competency based interview, 45 minutes, if successful a second stage introduction with our General Manager.
All offers are conditional based on a successful completion of the CITB MAPS and BPSS clearance.
Summary and purpose of position:
Lead and deliver on all operational KPI's, driving Right First Time and a Zero Harm safety culture across the teams, working with senior leadership to utilise space, resource and time to support the HPC build milestones. Developing and progressing the teams around them to thrive for continuous improvement and career progression.

Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day running of the site and managing a team, overseeing contractors and all visitors.
Liaising with stakeholders across the wider business to coordinate the site to deliver on processing volumes
To lead from the front in delivering excellent service, managing budgetary KPI's and delivering on contractual commitments
Working in conjunction with stakeholders and contractual leadership teams to ensure the operation meets the need of the client and their customers
Ensure all shift activities are completed across the site in line with procedures/SOPs/SSOWs
Establish priorities, communicate, and escalate them effectively
Be a presence in the warehouse, and lead by example with a safety-first approach
Nurture and develop your team
Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of site policies
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
IT literate - ability to learn new in-house systems
Strong communication skills, liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in managing a team across a fast-paced operation
Experience of working in an environment with a focus on HSEQ
